Membership Application Instructions

If you'd like to join the Palomar R/C Flyers, it's easy! Your application form will be processed when we receive in the mail a photocopy of your current AMA card and payment for dues. New members are voted in at the Club Meeting on the third Thursday of every month--once you have been voted in, a club membership card will be sent to you. You can also apply in person at the club meeting. Learn more about how we run our club.

All members must join the AMA. If you need to join the AMA, go to the Membership section of the AMA web site and get an application form. You can FAX them the form and get an AMA number the same day. Or, you can Join the AMA Online. We are an AMA chartered club and AMA membership is a prerequisite.

We have several types of memberships available:

  1. Read the Rules Governing the Use of Club Flying Sites.
  2. Print all three pages of the membership application and fill them out.  You can open the membership application in Acrobat Reader, or view/print all three pages from your web browser using this membership application.
  3. Make a copy of your AMA card (or FAX confirmation).
  4. Send the application, the photocopy of your AMA card and a check for your dues to:
